As of now, there will not be a micro tournament this year. None of the clubs, including ours, has stepped up to the job of hosting the event

All Parents please clean up the fields after your games. The school district will stop letting us use their fields if we leave them littered.

Also, when the game is going on, DO NOT yell at the refs. The ref has the right to stop the game and eject you. They will not restart the game until you have left.

Parents please do not coach from the sidelines, unless you are the coach!

Please be positive towards the actions of your players and the other teams, remember these are just young kids!

All Coaches, please be more careful with the lock on the porta potties and equipment  boxes. We have already lost the PortaPotty lock at Menlo, and I found the one at Earl Boyles on the ground under the unit

When unlocking the portapotty, please lock the lock back on to one of the two holes that lock it, that way the lock will not get lost. If you are the last coach on the field PLEASE be sure to lock the portapotties, equipment boxes and the gates at Menlo and Cherry Park. When Unlocking any lock, please lock it to something so that the lock does not get lost!

Parents and Coaches, Do you know the game well enough to Ref? Do you want a little extra cash? The club is looking for a few more people to ref games. You will be paid on a per game basis. Contact refs@ddsoccer.org

Our next meeting is Wednesday October 7th at 7pm at Pizza Baron. We will be reviewing the proposed bylaw changes that will be voted on at the Annual General Meeting(AGM)

Many board positions will be up for election I will send out an email after the meeting next week with a list of  positions up for elections and proposed bylaw changes. As some of us age out (at least our children do) the club is always looking for new parents to step up and help lead the club. Anyone is welcome to run for any of the positions open for election.

The AGM will be Nov 17th at Spaghetti factory.
