Spring 2025 Soccer Registration is now OPEN through Friday, March 14th
Some important Spring 2025 soccer information to remember:
Spring 2025 Soccer Registration is open through Friday, March 14th. A $10 late fee will be added for registrations submitted after this date.
A Coach/Parent informational family meeting is in early March. Location and evening time to be determined.
Volunteer Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Team Managers are needed, and you can register for these roles when signing up your child. Please consider this fun opportunity to serve the club! No experience is required and training is provided!
New uniform kits are $45, there will be an option in registration to purchase the new uniform kits. Each uniform kit includes a black jersey, red jersey, black shorts, and black socks (please note cleats and shin guards are required for play and not included in the kit). Used uniforms and soccer gear are encouraged and available come spring from DDSC Used Equipment and Uniform Coordinator. Contact usedequipment@ddsoccer.org for any questions.
Micro Level Play (PreK - 2nd Grade)
Pre-K through 2nd grade fees are $80.
Micro level (Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade) practices will begin Wednesday, April 2nd.
Practices are on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm-6:30pm for Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade Micro players.
All teams practice and play their games at Cherry Park Elementary School upper/lower fields.
Games are April through the first week of June. (No games will be played on Easter (4/20), Mother's Day (5/11), and Memorial Day weekend (5/24-5/26). Game schedules will be listed under "Team Schedules" by the beginning of April.
All games are intra-league games, meaning our DDSC teams only play against each other.
Recreational Level Play (3rd - 8th Grade)
3rd through 8th grade fees are $110.
Rec level (3rd - 8th grade) practices may start the week of Monday, March 17th and will run through the first week of June.
There will be once a week practice for 3rd through 8th grade players with exact location and times determined by the team's Head Coach. All practices will occur in the evenings at a David Douglas District school.
Games are April through possibly the first of June, all Rec games are played on Saturday in the Portland area. No game will be played on Memorial Day weekend (5/24-5/26). Game schedules will be listed under "Team Schedules" by the beginning of April.
It is important to us at DDSC that every child who desires to play soccer has the opportunity. Scholarships are available, provided at a sliding scale fee. If you are interested in receiving a scholarship, please complete this google form. The club will consider scholarship requests and provide you assistance to register at a reduced rate once awarded. All scholarship requests must be received by the end of February to be considered.

The David Douglas Soccer Club is a non-profit, community based program dedicated to sharing our vision and love of the game of soccer. Located in East Portland, Oregon, DDSC Recreational Soccer League is a league available for children who are 4 years old through 8th grade who want to learn skills and play soccer purely for the fun of it.

DDSC Used Equipment and Uniform Coordinator Jessica Giannettino has put together a gear swap page. This is a community shared project hosted by one of our player's family. Please see if there's any gear that you can use and donate old soccer gear and uniforms so that our players in our community can continue to use it!
