Spring 2024 soccer registration opens the first of 2024!

Hello DDSC Families.

Thank you so much for participating in the Fall 2023 soccer season. One of my biggest joys for me is watching children play together outside. My hope is that you had fun playing or watching your child play.

DDSC does not currently offer a winter soccer option for our members. However, for those that are interested in playing soccer more over the winter, there are indoor soccer and futsal leagues that may be available for individuals to join formed teams and/or register as a whole team.

Also, my hope is that you will join DDSC for Spring 2024 and tell your friends to join the fun too! The soccer season will be mid-March through May. Spring 2024 soccer registration will open at the first of the year.

Until then, there are many opportunities for your child to stay active and involved in the community. See below for the David Douglas School District offerings through their Community Sports & Recreation program. Contact Community Sports & Recreation Program Director Staci Heath: staci_heath@ddsd40.org | 503-261-8295 if you have questions.

Who We Are

The David Douglas Soccer Club is a non-profit, community based program dedicated to sharing our vision and love of the game of soccer. Located in East Portland Oregon, DDSC Recreational Soccer League is a league available for children who are 4 years old through 8th grade who want to learn skills and play soccer purely for the fun of it.

NEWS

Spring 2024 soccer registration will open at the first of the year.

DDSC Used Equipment and Uniform Coordinator Jessica Giannettino has put together a gear swap page. This is a community shared project hosted by one of our player's family. Please see if there's any gear that you can use and donate old soccer gear so that our players in our community can continue to use it!

The only way that this functions is if folks utilizing the swap contribute to the upkeep of the tracking document, found here.  To pick up/donate gear, find the item(s) you'd like, email Jess at usedequipment@ddsoccer.org to arrange pickup/drop off at her house in Cherry Park. Once picked up, please remove the item(s) you got from the swap, by deleting the entire row. To do so, right click on the number associated with that row and then delete. For Donations:  Please add the items you're donating to the spreadsheet under the correct tab and size range (found at the bottom of the screen) and drop off at her house.

We're in particular need of size 1 cleats and can always use jerseys' your little players have outgrown! Contact Jess at usedequipment@ddsoccer.org for any questions.
