Fall registration is now closed. For registration questions or inquiries email reg@ddsoccer.org.
The Coach/Parent "Family Meeting" was Tuesday August 13 at 7 PM at the DDHS stadium field - 1500 SE 130th Ave. Portland, OR 97233 (during summer camp).
You will receive a Team Welcome letter that will share your specific team's expectations for the season from your Coach. This letter includes practice day, time, and location and how to best communicate with your Coach.
Practices are in the evenings at a David Douglas School District field. Twice a week for 3rd through 8th grade players; Once a week for our Micro Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten through 2nd grade players.
Practices for 3rd-8th grade teams may start the week of Monday, August 19th and run through the end of October.
Practices for Micro Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade teams start Wednesday, August 28th and run through the end of October at Cherry Park School.
Games are September through the end of October. (No game on Labor Day weekend.) In early November, Portland Youth Soccer Association (PYSA) provides an optional tournament opportunity for any of our interested 3rd through 8th grade teams.
3rd grade through 8th grade play Saturday games in the Portland area. Game schedules will be posted under "Team Schedules" by the end of August.
Micro Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade teams play Sunday afternoon intra-league games at Cherry Park School. (No game on Labor Day weekend.) Micro game schedules will be posted under "Team Schedules" by the end of August.
Purchased new uniform kits will be delivered before the first game of the season. This kit will include a black jersey, red jersey, black shorts, and black socks. Contact merchandise@ddsoccer.org for questions.
Used uniforms and soccer gear are encouraged. DDSC is in need of more used uniforms and size 1-3 cleats. Contact DDSC Used Equipment Coordinator at usedequipment@ddsoccer.org for donations and/or questions.
Fall pictures will be Monday, September 16th for 3rd-8th grade teams; and Sunday, September 22nd for Micro Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade teams. Picture schedule will be posted soon.
We need you! DDSC runs as a Volunteer organization. We are asking for Parents/Adults to step into Volunteer roles that includes on the field Coach and off the field Board positions and coordinators. Please contact secretary@ddsoccer.org to be involved in any of these ways!
WHO WE ARE
The David Douglas Soccer Club is a non-profit, community based program dedicated to sharing our vision and love of the game of soccer. Located in East Portland, Oregon, DDSC Recreational Soccer League is a league available for children who are 4 years old through 8th grade who want to learn skills and play soccer purely for the fun of it.

Used Equipment and Uniform Information
DDSC Used Equipment and Uniform Coordinator Jessica Giannettino has put together a gear swap page. This is a community shared project hosted by one of our player's family. Please see if there's any gear that you can use and donate old soccer gear and uniforms so that our players in our community can continue to use it!
We're in particular need of size 1 cleats and can always use jerseys' your little players have outgrown! Contact DDSC Used Equipment and Uniform Coordinator at usedequipment@ddsoccer.org for any questions.
